SIOUX FALLS — Police believe no foul play was involved in the death of a man in downtown Sioux Falls.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, officers with the Sioux Falls Police Department were called to Fawick Park, on downtown’s eastern edge, for a report of a body that was discovered in the park.
Police spokesman Sam Clemens said the body was that of a 58-year-old man who was transient.
No foul play is currently suspected in the man’s death, though Clemens said an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause and manner of death.
The identity of the victim has not been released by authorities.
