SIOUX FALLS — The SoDak 16 is set, and on Friday night, the field for the Class AA girls basketball state tournament will be set.
Sioux Falls Washington is the No. 1 seed at 17-3, while Pierre, also 17-3, earned the No. 2 seed.
The eight winners of Friday night's games advance to the Class AA state tournament, which will be held in Sioux Falls at the Sanford Pentagon March 9-11. The 16-team bracket will not be re-seeded in Class AA after the SoDak 16, with the winners slotting directly into the state quarterfinal bracket.
Class A and Class B SoDak 16 matchups are set for Thursday night. This year's Class A tournament is in Watertown, while Class B is in Huron, also on March 9-11.
