Man stabbed in Sioux Falls apartment robbery

Police say the suspects entered the victim’s apartment and began beating him in the Tuesday, Jan. 10, incident.

SIOUX FALLS — Police in Sioux Falls are working to identify two suspects after a man was beaten, stabbed and robbed in his apartment.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, police in Sioux Falls were called to an apartment complex in the 3000 block of East 26th Street for a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, authorities spoke with a 42-year-old man who said two men had entered his apartment and punched him several times before taking the victim’s wallet and phone.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens said it was later discovered that the victim had also suffered a stab wound to the leg. The severity of the victim’s injuries were not released by authorities.

Though detectives with the Sioux Falls Police Department have information on the suspects, no descriptions were publicly released and authorities are still working to find them.

No arrests have been made in the case as of Thursday morning.
