SIOUX FALLS — Police in Sioux Falls are investigating a series of vandalism at an eastern Sioux Falls business after multiple car windows were shattered over the weekend.

In the afternoon hours of Sunday, Jan. 15, officers with the Sioux Falls Police Department were called to a business in the 800 block of East 10th Street for a report of vandalism.

According to police spokesman Sam Clemens, a manager of a business had discovered seven vehicles with shattered windows in their parking lot.

Though camera footage was not immediately available to police, Clemens said the crime is assumed to have taken place between the time the manager left on Saturday night and when they returned on Sunday.

Police estimated the vandalism caused more than $5,000 in damage. No items were reported stolen from within any of the vehicles.
